Chief Financial Officer

Is offered by a certified public accountant (CPA) possessing extensive experience across various industries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements.
  • Develop and maintaining accounting principles, policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Lead external audits, liaise with the external auditors and prepare supporting documentation.
  • Liaise with banks and government agencies.

  • Build the financial strategy in support of the vision, mission and growth plans which may include financial modelling and forecasting.
  • Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and long-term strategy; develop tools and reports to assess critical financial and operational information and actionable recommendations on strategy, operations, and financial performance to ownership.
  • Provide financial expertise and knowledge in mergers & acquisitions providing critical expertise in finance.
  • Develop performance measures for finance that support the company’s strategic direction.
  • Report financial results to ownership, investors and board of directors as required.

  • Maintain controls and budgets to preserve accuracy of the company's reported financial results
  • Maintain oversight of cash management, including forecasts and reconciliations
  • Maintain orderly filing systems for maintenance of all current and historical accounting records
  • Prepare/post journal entries to issue timely and complete financial statements
  • Maintain detailed accounting records in support of all financial reports.
  • Complete month and year end account reconciliation and accounting system closing tasks.

  • Recording financial transactions
  • Maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring accuracy of financial records
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections
  • Billing, collecting outstanding payments from clients, monitoring accounts to identify overdue payments, and implementing strategies for collection
  • Oversee payroll activities, including processing, reconciling payroll data, and addressing discrepancies
